Why Apex Patients Choose Carolina Elite
Apex is one of the most active, health-conscious communities in Wake County. With a median household income above $144,000, high rates of recreational sports participation, and a population that skews young and family-focused, Apex residents tend to be discerning about the quality of care they seek out. They are not looking for the nearest convenient option. They are looking for the best one.

Dr. Lindsay Hren grew up in Apex. She attended local schools, played sports in this community, and went on to become a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with a UNC Orthopedic PT Residency and a CSCS credential. When she treats an Apex patient recovering from an ACL tear before tryouts at Apex High, or a weekend runner dealing with a stubborn IT band issue, she brings more than clinical expertise. She brings firsthand knowledge of what it means to be an athlete in this community.

Carolina Elite is an out-of-network, direct-access practice. No referral, no waitlist, no shared session time. Every Apex patient works 1-on-1 with a Doctor of PT for a full 60 minutes per visit.
Physical Therapy Services Available to Apex Patients
All four of our specialty services are available to Apex patients, both via mobile PT and at our Holly Springs clinic.
Orthopedic & Sports PT
Sports injuries, post-surgical rehab, joint pain, and return to sport. Dr. Lindsay Hren's board-certified OCS and CSCS credentials make her one of the most qualified orthopedic PTs in the greater Apex area. She treats athletes from Apex High and surrounding schools, adult recreational athletes, and post-surgical patients across all age groups.
All three DPTs are certified.
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
Prenatal, postpartum, and women's health PT for Apex families. Two Herman and Wallace certified DPTs. Mobile PT is available for postpartum Apex patients who prefer care at home. Given Apex's large population of young families, pelvic health PT is one of our most-requested services in this community.
Vestibular & Balance PT
Dr. Sara Roberts is certified in vestibular rehabilitation and treats dizziness, vertigo, BPPV, post-concussion symptoms, and balance disorders. Vestibular PT is available via mobile PT for Apex patients for whom driving is difficult during active symptoms.
Gymnastics & Cheerleading Rehab
Dr. Sara Roberts competed as a gymnast for 13 years and provides on-site PT at Sonshine Gymnastics. We treat gymnasts and cheerleaders from Apex and surrounding areas for acute injuries, overuse conditions, return to skills, and prevention.
Serving Apex Neighborhoods
We serve patients from every part of Apex. Mobile PT is available throughout the city. Apex patients who prefer in-clinic care are welcome at our Oakview Commons location in Holly Springs, about 10 minutes from central Apex.
Haddon Hall
One of Apex's original master-planned communities and one of the most walkable, sitting across from Beaver Creek. Active families from Haddon Hall are among our most frequent Apex patients for orthopedic and sports PT.
Scotts Mill
A beloved neighborhood on the Beaver Creek Greenway near Kelly Road Park. Runners, cyclists, and active families from Scotts Mill come to us for both orthopedic and pelvic health care.
Sweetwater
A newer planned community just off Hwy 64 and I-540. Sweetwater's mix of families and professionals makes it a popular request for mobile PT during work-from-home hours.
Bella Casa
An upscale west Apex community known for larger lots and a family-focused atmosphere. Bella Casa residents frequently request mobile PT for postpartum care and post-surgical recovery.
Woodcreek
A large resort-style community on the south side of Apex bordering Holly Springs. Woodcreek is just minutes from our clinic, making it one of the most convenient Apex neighborhoods for in-clinic visits.
Buckhorn Preserve
An established community with a significant proportion of one-level homes. We serve older adults and active retirees from Buckhorn Preserve for balance, orthopedic, and vestibular care.
Grayhawk Landing
A well-established Apex neighborhood near Beaver Creek Commons. Families and athletes from Grayhawk Landing are regular patients for sports PT and postpartum care.
Salem Oaks and Salem Village
Established communities near downtown Apex with easy access to our Holly Springs clinic. We serve patients here for the full range of our orthopedic and specialty services.
Downtown Apex
Historic downtown Apex and the Salem Street corridor. Residents within walking distance of downtown frequently book mobile PT sessions to fit care into a busy weekday schedule.
We also serve patients in Cary, Morrisville, and communities along the Hwy 64 and US-1 corridors. Not sure if we reach you? Call or text us.
